The Land of Smiles

The ancient stone sculptures of the Kouroi series were the protagonists of cult events in 500 BC, where the ancient Greeks celebrated "charisma and youth".
Analogies can also be found in other cultures up to the present day. The inhabitants of the Omo Valley in Ethiopia celebrate beauty and nature on certain occasions by appearing to merge with nature, adorned with flowers. The frozen moments of a flaring smile, whether carved in stone or captured on canvas, point to the future.
